I had the opportunity to really dive into Google My Business, and there are some amazing capabilities, that are free to you.
With a Google My Business Account, you get more than a business listing. Your free Business Profile lets you easily connect with customers across Google Search and Maps.
Think about the last time you looked something up on Google. There were ad results on the top, and right below it was a map, and to the right of your browser was probably a listing that looked like this.
There are 3 Reasons You may want to leverage your GMB Listing
1. Be seen - 97% of the US Population can be reached via Google, it’s one of the quickest ways to be found. Having and claiming your profile pulls in any sites you may have your property on, amenities, and contact information
2. Reviews - Guests always need validation that someone has enjoyed your property. They like to see what others peoples experiences were.
3. Insights - Ever curious to understand what people are looking for when they arrive to your property online, or more importantly, if someone found you on Google because they were looking up a different property? All this data is available on the insights tab and can give you an initial idea of how your property is performing (without a data science degree!)
